Writing a Memoir – where do you begin?

Creating a memoir of your life is no easy task. When we think about all of the experiences we’ve gone through: the successes, the hardships, the milestones…it becomes almost overwhelming trying to figure out a way to to summarize it all.

Most times we begin thinking of our life history in a chronological order…trying to recall our very first memory and then piece together the timeline from there on. But does the reader really want that? Or are they more interested in the major highlights of your life, explained in such a way that captures (and keeps) their attention?
